Pyramid Principle
  * Organise into main ideas
  * Populate sub-ideas
  * 


  * The trick is to work together as a team
  * Don’t get stressed about perfection: it just needs to be good enough.
  * Be clear in the language used
  * Repeat for a pattern if it helps engage audience


Almost always lead presentation with conclusion first
  * Very rarely do you present from bottom-up, i.e. present the insights first, and build the arguments leading to the conclusion

Adam Grant’s proposed to start with the counter-arguments first
  * For BCG, you are asking for trouble if you don’t float the ideas with client prior the meeting
  * Only rarely will you get aggressive reaction (from the rare individual)

  * Remember Matrix ?
  * Story about 8 psychically linked individuals
    * Chicago, LA, Berlin, Delhi, Seoul, Kenya, Stockholm, Sao Palao

Cinematography
  * Remember the ground-breaking special effects of Matrix ?
  * Coupled with breath-takingly massive sets involving thousands in events like Pride Parade in Sao Paolo

Story
  * Beside the rich background of each of the 8 diverse individuals, we get to see the interplay of characters with each other
  * Set against a global conspiracy

Daring social commentary
  * With the different cultural backgrounds of the main characters, we see how we may grow up in vastly different surroundings but all driven by very similar life goals
  * And against the polarising views for and against LGBTQ+, the Wachowski got to celebrate the beauty of same gender love and sacrifice
